Sexto boletín de la Agencia de los Derechos Fundamentales de la Unión Europea sobre "Pandemia de coronavirus en la UE - Implicaciones en los derechos fundamentales"

The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has recently published a report that provides a useful overview of the restrictive measures of the fundamental freedoms of citizens adopted by the various European States to face the "second wave" of the Coronavirus epidemic, with particular reference to the period between the 1st of September and the 31st of October 2020. The report focuses in particular on those measures which:

  • affect specific individual freedoms, such as freedom of assembly or movement;
  • impact on the social rights of citizens in key areas of daily life, such as the rights to healthcare, education, work and housing;
  • impact on the social rights of specific groups, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, migrants and asylum seekers, people in institutional settings.
